Join the club
You apply for membership by completing a simple form (on the main Co-wheels website www.co-wheels.org.uk/join-us). We then arrange a 3-way telephone call with you and the DVLA to confirm your drivers licence details. You will receive a membership card, manual and member ID.
Book
You can book vehicles through the main Co-wheels website (anytime) or by phoning 0845 602 8030. Choose a time slot(s), from 1 hour to 1 week, in advance of (or at least 1 minute before) the booking time. You will only pay for the time and for mileage (13p per mile) and a small charge for some extras, such as car seats (which you can book direct with Co-wheels Birmingham on 0121 288 4882).
Drive
The car will be parked in a designated bay or parking space on the street. Swipe your membership card against the reader to unlock the car. The ignition key is in the glove compartment. The on-board telematic computer will record how long you have the car and miles travelled.
If you need to refill the tank, just use the fuel card on board.
Pay-as-you-go
At the end of the month, we send you an email bill which summarises your car use that month and miles driven.
